All of the employees were super nice and the pool and bathroom were nice and super clean. I loved the pavilions offered for the camp site.

Staff friendly and helpful, older campground in an industrial area a little noisy at night, campground clean and sites clean, a bit tight on some sites. easy in and easy out, not hard to find, close to I-270.

First time out with our camper. I liked that there was a guy who escorted us to our site. Nice little place to camp

The lady at the front desk was rude. Front desk said it was open until 6 and she was in her car leaving by 550. We had the only site that was for an “RV” but had no gravel and we were in a complete puddle of mud and unable to be outside the entire stay. Also did not seem as though they sprayed for mesquitos we couldn’t spend a single second outside without being attacked even with bug sp

We stayed for one night. Loved this place and the hospitality of the people over there. But..But except for the BUGS and MOSQUITOES. Sitting outside for a single minute, both day and night, with a mosquito bite was very painful. Came back home with at least 10 bite marks and itchiness for a week. They should take care of this very seriously.

The plus with staying at this KOA is the proximity to downtown St. Louis. Our pull through site, was moderately level for our short stay. Downsides....rain water stands and does not drain, especially on our water/sewer/electrical side so i was having to walk through water to drain the tanks etc.... The wifi, was really non existent. I had to toggle off of my phone as the wifi really did not work.

The campground was not in the best shape, although the bathrooms were exceptionally clean, a huge plus!

We weren’t informed the laundry would be closed before we arrived. Planned to do our wash while there and learned the machines were broken and needed to be replaced. That was a disappointment! Even tho we were given a map to a laundromat after we hooked up so of course we didn’t want to unhook our RV after all the work we out into it. Good thing we stayed only one night.

We thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Journey KOA was just what we were looking for. I think some camper's expected a Holiday KOA from the reviews they have given. The young man the check me in was helpful in choosing a good pizza place that delivered to your camp site. IMO's pizza was pretty darn good thank you young man. Showers are hot and clean as were the bathrooms. 5 star

I did enjoyed there. Capra and Shawn are both great workers. They were helping with TV and gave me the information about camping grounds

The park needs maintenance. Spots were uneven, muddy and messy. The picnic tables all appear to be very old, warped and dirty. With thunderstorms frequently in the area, a little attention to trimming dead branches out of the trees would go a long way to peace of mind. Wasn't pleasant to have branches hitting the trailer during the night.

People didn't follow speed limit through park

Ok for an overnight stop.

An alright place to use as a parking spot for an RV and be close to St. Louis.

The office had odd hours. Closed from 11-2. You walk into darkness and have to turn left and walk through into another room to register. One worker came in shirtless and went behind the counter. It was not very welcoming. Our golf cart escort just took us and left without any offer of assistance or inquire if we had questions. It was one of the more expensive KOAs we stayed in. Not worth it.

I’ve been raving for over. 50 years and never had to pay a fee for checking in one hour early. The park was less than half full. The park had plenty of spaces that were not flooded and I was escorted to A mud hole. Have only been staying at KOA parks about a year and all seem to be over priced. Definitely won’t be going back to this park. I have a photo of the standing water at my site .

This place was a dump. Visually, there was a lot of run down buildings, trailers etc. The sites were so small that you picnic table was conveniently located next to your neighbors sewer hose. Fortunately we only had to spend one night.

While the campground is in an industrial area. I found it quiet. In comparison to other KOA, the grounds are unkept. We had an issue wicable TV and they were responsive in fixing it. Store not open during business to purchase ice. I think it’s OK for a short stay such as one or two nights, but I would not recommend it for a long-term stay.

Lovely wooded setting. Very quiet.

Location was sketchy but the camp is hidden from the commercial property. Was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. Employees were pleasant and helpful.

An urban wooded haven.

Desk attendant was fine. Weak WIFI connection and a very poorly maintained park are the prime reasons for not recommending.

This is an extremely run down koa in an industrial rough neighborhood. Not a kid friendly koa. Not a vacation koa. It is a construction workers koa who live in campers instead of hotels. It worked fine because we were just passing through town.

A bit run down. Did not use laundry or showers. Good for 1 night, we did stay 2. Located in an industrial area. Young boys playing around the office, L don't believe they were guest.

Was very wet everywhere, couldn’t empty tanks fluid would back up out next lot over, staff not very friendly. Next to truck yard, motorcycles running back & forth till midnight

Très ordinaire, bon pour une nuit seulement. Internet passable. Propre.

I’ve come to conclusion KOA Journey means pass. If you like paying a high price for a tight space in a rundown park located in the middle of an industrial trucking center, then this is your kind of place. I’ll pass next time.

It was in a location near where we needed to be. The staff were extremely friendly and the site was everything we needed. There are still trains that run through at night as a heads up, but it wasn't constant and we still got a good nights sleep. It was rainy/wet but the play area and bouncing pad looked like it would be a lot of fun. Definitely would come back in the future.

i WAS BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO STAY FOR 6 NIGHTS. I asked for a break in the rate, she said she would see what she could do. Next thing I know I have been charged full price for all 6 nights. Thanks for not even letting me know.

Located in industrial area, but surrounded by trees so once in you don’t notice. Office staff friendly and helpful. Great location for access to downtown St. Louis. Only 20 minutes. Clean facilities

Facility in poor condition. Picnic tables old with mold. Sorry but we won’t go back

We arrived later in the evening. The offices were already closed. We were able to find our cabin easily. It had rained before we arrived and there was lots of standing water around the cabin. The cabin was clean. Couldn't get our tv to work. The bathrooms were clean and we checked out before anyone was at the office, so I can't really say much about the rest of the facilities.

Looking for a RV site close to the attractions in St Louis, found this park wasn't to sure about it after reading the previous reviews but we pulled in without a reservation. Desk crew was very helpful and was in a site in just a few minutes. Good gravel interior roads full hookups, cabins and tent sites also. Park is located in an industrial area but once you are in the park you wouldn't know it. Pool, propane, laundry closes at 6pm, clean bathrooms with showers. 10 miles from the Arch 4 miles from Chain of Rocks bridge. Like all KOAs it's a little bit pricey but definitely the best park we found close to town. Seems safe easy in and out WiFi worked great would have given 5 stars if the laundry was open later.
