This KOA is wonderful in multiple ways. My husband and I stayed in a camping cabin. It was very clean, had wonderful bathrooms, great beds, and has a fridge and microwave in them which was VERY helpful. It also seemed to be pretty quiet, which doesn't always happen at a KOA. It was a great place to stay the night!!

The camp manager went out of her way to find a site for us - 38’ motor home with tow. Also, we were not able to make the first day of our reservation because of high winds (40-60 mph) along our route. We were not charged for that night. Very accommodating.

I loved the walking paths and the two enclosures of Kamp K9. The whole park was spotlessly clean and the employees were all friendly. I will definitely recommend this KOA to friends.

This KOA is the cleanest and most welcoming park we have stayed at. The staff goes over and above in providing their services. They lead us to our site and even made sure we were aligned with the hook ups. They called to tell us our tow lights were on. They even called after we departed to let us know we left a pressure regulator behind and would keep it until we come back in October.

This was the WORST camping experience I have ever had. These people are rude and disrespectful and honestly they made us so uncomfortable we didn’t even stay the whole weekend. Maybe spend less on fancy sinks and more time being welcoming to the people who are just trying to camp for a weekend. Horrible experience and would seriously recommend taking your family to a different campsite…

Stayed here for one night on our way to Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone. They were awesome. Very accommodating. Sites are clean and easy to access. Owner is very nice.

Perfect spot. A lot of space. Well maintained and working on improvements building a mini golf. Wished we could have stayed longer but could only stay one night to continue our trip.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Mitchell KOA - If I could give it 10 stars I would. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating; the park it very neat and clean and has plenty of activities that are very well kept and bonus, the store is the best I’ve seen and we have stayed at many KOA’s. I highly recommend Mitchell KOA!

Our stay at Mitchell KOA was awesome. Check in was efficient & staff was very friendly & helpful. Washrooms were very clean. Loved the Rain head with larger shower stalls. Our requests were accommodated

Friendly staff, we stayed an extra night due to a storm, the staff was very helpful. Washrooms were very nice. If you're a birder there are tons of birds. �� percent recommend staying here.

Amazing helpful and friendly—from local wine recommendations to a great restaurant in town. The sites were great with lots of trees and a nice dog run. Facilities were spotless. Well done!

We had an overnight stay here at Mitchell KOA. First time there and were very impressed wiith management, condition of the grounds and sites. Restrooms were the prettiest.I have ever seen at any KOA. Grounds were spotless. There was a large area for dog walking and going potty. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of Grass. The store had a large selection of necessities and souvenirs. Look forward to our next visit there when passing through. Wish I could attach the picture of the sinks in the bathrooms. Each sink Looked handpainted and were of different Designs. Each sink had a separate mirror and the mirror was edged in pretty colored glass.

Well maintained KOA with excellent staff. Park is quiet, and has a nice walking trail. Lots are level, and the Wi-Fi is functional.
