"I've enjoyed my experience with KOA and kamping so much that I have joined the ranks and recently purchased my own built-to-order Rockwood Travel Trailer, which I fully intend to use with all of you and enjoy for years to come!" Chuck hails from a career in the hospitality industry, where he was a hotel developer, a general manager and a restaurant-bar owner/operator. "I've always enjoyed RVing and camping and I wanted to stay in the hospitality business, so when an opportunity came up with KOA while I was in the process of selling my restaurant/bar business, I felt it was a perfect fit," says Chuck. The KOA GREAT service philosophy is also a perfect fit with Chuck's style of service, which is to help his staff provide the memorable camping experiences that his guests are looking for. His favorite part of operating a KOA campground is "putting a piece of my own personality and self into the operation." When he's not enjoying the operations side of KOA, Chuck spends his time with his family, on the golf course, or camping and fishing, and getting out to enjoy Texas every chance he gets!
